Kurta - Ethnic or Western !!

Kurtas can never go wrong !! A kurta is a must in every girl's wardrobe. Not much effort is required to style them. They can be paired with different bottoms and accessories creating some fun and amazing looks. There are a few myths about kurtas like they can only be worn ethnically, they cannot be worn to parties and many more.

The first look, I created is an ethnic look. I paired my kurta with a pair of palazzo, I chose a white palazzo of chicken material which has embroidery all over it. Palazzo's are great during summers and what can be better than white. Along with the palazzo's, I wore my black ballerinas. To complete the look, I chose grey coloured hoops and an embroidered multicoloured clutch. You can also wear jutti's or chandbali's with the look, try avoiding same coloured footwear as of the bottom as different coloured footwear gives a contrast to the look.

Next look is an indo-western look as I paired the same kurta with a pair of rugged jeans. To give that Indian touch, I wore white and pink coloured jutti. Completing the look, I wore silver coloured hoops. These hoops complement the look as well as add that western vibe to the look. Also, I used the same ethnic bag as a sling bag.

Third look is again an ethnic look, I paired the kurta with yellow coloured leggings. Adding that Indian touch with a dupatta, a pair of silver and black drop earrings and a pair of jutti's. I chose a dupatta with a slight bling on it and added a silver and golden coloured metallic clutch to it, making it apt for any event.

In all of these looks, you can wear chandbali's or jhumka's. Also, instead of jutti's, you can style the look with kohlapuri chappals. If you choose to wear a cut sleeve kurta, you can add some bangles or a bracelet or even a watch. You can even wear your kurta as a dress, if the kurta has no slits. Pants, dhoti or patiala salwars can also be worn.
