Festivals !!
The festive season is here and so is Diwali, the festival of lights and bling. There are a lot of parties around Diwali like card parties, family get togethers and many more. People expect Diwali outfits to be full of bling, those heavy lehngas and all jewelled up. But it's upto you how you wanna look on Diwali, some girls like that bling and some like to keep it simple. I have chosen my three favourite outfits for the festive season depending on my mood and the type of party.
The first is the most heavy one, all bling and embroidered. I wore this sea green and pink ethnic gown that has a shrug with it. The dress and the shrug both have full sleeves and have work on it, so much of accessorising is not required. With the dress, I wore these simple drop earrings as the dress already had a lot of work on it.
The second one is a bit light from the first but still has that bling and work on it. Instead of the full dress having work on it, only the shrug has mirrored work and embroidery on it. The dress has churidar sleeves, so you don't need any bangles with it. Since we are keeping this look simple, so I went for my golden studs, you can totally pair your heavy jhumkas with the look too.
The last one is the simplest of all, just wore my basic red kurta with black palazzos. To add that bling to the look, I wore a red dupatta that has golden border. Also, since the dress is minimalistic, paired the look with silver and red bling earrings for those Diwali feels.
I didn't pair any footwear or bag with the looks, you can choose your heels or flats according to your comfort and a pretty clutch to go along.
